Put some teeth into your guitar! More body, more volume and a clear tone that can cut through a mix, that is what to expect with the BCS Standard series. This kit is a complete electrical replacement for any Les Paul, LP copy or any guitar with a standard LP layout that uses the short shaft pots*. We use only high grade components in our kits to bring out optimum performance. (Click Here for info on our components) The Standard LP Complete kit uses CTS pots made for MOJO, Switchcraft Switch and jack, and Mojo Dijon Capacitors. We also use 18 gauge thick stranded cloth covered wire for the ground connection and all the conductor wires are 22 gauge solid core and are color coded for easy installation.
The Gibson option of this kit replaces the short shaft pots with the long shaft pots that are needed for the thick arch top on most Gibson Les Pauls. The pots are still 500K, made by CTS for MOJO and are guaranteed to be within 10% tolerance. It also replaces the short shaft switch with a long shaft Switchcraft switch.
The unassembled version of this kit comes with everything the assembled kit does including heat shrink and an Assembly Template. We also include 12 feet of wire just in case you make a mistake and need a little extra. Be aware that if your volume and tone pot holes are not 3/8″ in diameter then you will need to open them up for the new pots to fit. Don’t worry this is easier than it sounds and a step by step is included in the instructions. Standard LP Complete Installation Instructions
*NOTE: The wiring harness is built to standard Gibson and Epiphone length. If the measured distance from your switch to your volume pots is more than 12″, or from your switch to your output jack is more than 18″ you will need to send us the actual measurements from your guitar so the wiring harness will be built to the proper length. For example, we have had to build a harness for a Tokai Love Rock with an additional 2 inches on all the leads for it to fit correctly.

- 4- 500K CTS short/split shaft potentiometers
- 2- Mojo Dijon .22nf/630v Capacitors (.22nf = .022uf)
- 1- Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch (short shaft)
- 1- Switchcraft ¼” mono output jack
- All cloth covered wire, 18 gauge thick stranded & 22 gauge solid core
